United Rehabilitation Services of Greater Dayton (URS) is a local nonprofit agency with a 56-year history of serving children and adults with disabilities in the Miami Valley. URS was originally founded as the Dayton Chapter of United Cerebral Palsy and today provides programs and services each day to nearly 400 children and adults with disabilities. URS helps our clients reach their highest level of independence and promotes community inclusion through programs including: Childcare Center (6 weeks to 6 years), Latch Key Program (7 years to 18 years), Summer Enrichment Program, In-Home Respite Care and Parent Support Groups, Center, Community Employment, Vocational Center, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Aquatic Therapy, and Berry Hearing Center-Hearing Aid Sales/Services. URS has several signature events in the community to raise funds to support its mission including the URS Rubber Duck Regatta, Telethon on WDTN Channel 2, Dayton Auto Auction Golf Outing, and Barstool Open Mini Golf Events in the Oregon District and North Dayton. There are volunteer opportunities for these events and working with clients at URS. This Dayton Original has been serving children and adults with disabilities in our community since 1956!
