Situated on Wolf Creek, it’s hard to believe a scenic, natural area is located within Dayton city limits! Wesleyan MetroPark, located at 1441 Wesleyan Road, is a quiet and peaceful neighborhood park. The beautiful woodlands, scenic river, and wildlife bring urban residents close to nature, and make this 55-acre park especially appealing. Wesleyan provides a great setting for afternoon picnics, weekend family cookouts, or joyful time at the playground. In addition, Wesleyan is the site of Adventure Central, an innovative partnership between Five Rivers MetroParks, Ohio State University Extension, and 4-H Youth Development. Adventure Central, located at 2222 N. James H. McGee Blvd., is an education center for urban youth ages 5-18, and serves as a hub for after-school programs, clubs, activity nights, day and overnight camps, as well as parent and family programs. This Dayton Original offers miles of hiking and walking trails through natural areas on both sides of Wolf Creek!
