Courteous Mass Dayton is a monthly, free, street bicycle ride with the goal to make motorists aware of cyclists. Riders are encouraged to observe all traffic laws and to use only friendly gestures. The goal of this event is to give participants the opportunity to explore Dayton by bike, while providing safety in numbers. Courteous Mass cyclists meet every First Friday in front of the Dragons’ stadium and depart at 5:30 p.m. Riders of all skill levels are welcome; the slowest rider determines the pace. Rides are held year round, and nobody is left behind! Simply bring your bike and some lights. Dayton has been recognized as a Bronze-level “Bike Friendly City” by the League of American Bicyclists for its bicycle friendly infrastructure. If you want to join the fun and see the city from your bike, this Dayton Original event is for you!
